Art Deco Design Language and Consistency:
Bold, sharp angles and patterns were the main driving force behind a lot of the designs.

Consistency is key and makes the overall environment more believeable. I tried to stay consistent as possible with texturing and shapes:

Modular Pieces for the Pod Set:

Materials:
Floor Debris:
I used debris to further popoulate the floor, some of the debris like the tiles and papers were simply baked onto a plane. Others were normal models. I also used the prefab feature to group rnadom debris so it was easier to scatter and saved a lot of time.

Floor:
By using a combination of vertex paint and decals, I made the basic wooden floor look a lot more interesting:
This enabled me to make the floor look more visually pleasing:

Vertex painting was also used in other areas such as adding frost and dirt to the windows:
Wall Variations/Modular Wall Pieces:
Variation is key to an enviornment so I made quite a few modular piece variations to ensure the walls don't look too bland (like the top image). These also helped to break up and hide the wallpaper texture seams.
